Tagua nut small with shell 35mm 1 piece brown

$3.00
Type: Tagua nuts
In stock
Small shelled tagua nut, 35mm long, with the cord hole through the full length of the nut .

The shell of this tagua nut was not removed and instead polished. The tagua has a length of approx. 35mm and a diameter of 20mm - 28mm. The shape of the nut is not completely round and can have two to three sides. The size and shape of the nuts vary. Every nut looks different.

Tip: since these nuts are not colored, the shell can flake off easily. Here you can get creative with transparent nail polish or sand down the nut with sandpaper and make interesting patterns in the shell.

The cord hole channel goes through the entire length of the nut. The cord hole has a size of approx. 2.5mm. The tagua is heavy and cool to the touch.

This great tagua nut can be worn casually on a leather strap or chic on jewelry wire. In both cases, however, it is a very eye-catching and unusual piece of jewelry that not only catches the eye because of its size, but also because of its colour, shape and shine.

Please note:
The tagua or stone nut is a natural product that, after drying, is cut into slices, lentils, beads, rings, etc. before it is then colored. The individual parts may have cracks, grains, brown remains of shells, etc. These are not errors. These characteristics are wanted and make up the very special design of the Tagua products. Every single piece is cut, drilled and colored by hand. No part is like the other.
Tagua products, such as pearls, are relatively heavy and cool to the touch (this is the stone character). Because of its beautiful white fruit, the tagua is also known as plant ivory. With their cool, smooth feel and their beautiful shapes, the Tagua products can be processed into extraordinary and luxurious jewellery.
