A horn nugget is about 6-9mm long, 6-8mm wide and about 5-8mm thick. The strand is approx. 39cm long and holds approx. 62 horn nuggets.
The cord hole has a diameter of approx. 0.8-1.0mm.
The horn nuggets are sometimes lighter and sometimes darker. Traces of processing such as fine lines can still be seen on the horn nuggets.
The horn nuggets are made from buffalo horn waste.
