Five purple tagua tips, 18-25mm in size.

The tagua tips are 18-25mm long, 13-19mm wide and 10-15mm thick. The tagua tips are very different in size and shape. No tagua tip is like the other. Some tagua tips are more rounded, others more triangular and others more elongated.
The shell of the tagua nut has been almost entirely removed with the exception of a few remnants. The tagua tip has been polished, which gives it a special shine.

The tagua or stone nut is a natural product that, after drying, is cut into slices, lentils, beads, rings, etc. before it is then colored. The individual parts may have cracks, grains, brown remains of shells, etc. These are not errors. These characteristics are wanted and make up the very special design of the Tagua products. Every single piece is cut, drilled and colored by hand. No part is like the other. These tagua nuts come from the rainforests of Ecuador and Peru.
Tagua products, such as pearls, are relatively heavy and cool to the touch (this is the stone character). With their cool, smooth feel and their beautiful shapes, the Tagua products can be processed into extraordinary and luxurious jewellery.
