Five brown-beige spotted kukui nuts, 25mm in size.
The dark shell of this kukui nut has been partially removed and the light-colored fruit with dark shell remains is visible. The surface is very smooth and shiny. The color distribution is very different:some nuts are very dark with little beige, some are almost completely beige and some are very mackerel.
The kukui nut is hollow inside and somewhat heart-shaped. The nut is approx. 25mm long and approx. 25mm wide. The kukui nut has a thickness of approx. 21mm. The size varies. The cord hole runs top to bottom (imagining a heart) and is approximately 3.5mm in diameter. These kukui nuts are undyed and come from the Philippines.
Kukui nuts have the advantage of being very large and conspicuous, but still very light. They are excellent for making very unusual and eye-catching necklaces and bracelets.
