Five beautiful aqua colored tagua disc beads, with the cord hole running the full length of the disc.
Five aqua colored disc beads with a length of approx. 25mm and a width of approx. 18mm per bead. Each disc is approximately 4mm thick and the cord hole, which is approximately 1.8mm in diameter, runs the full length of the disc. Each disc is colored on both sides and the rim still consists of the shell of the tagua. The size of the disc bead varies.
Tagua disc beads are particularly suitable for small and simple necklaces. The disc beads also work without additional beads and look totally chic and modern when strung on silver jewelry wire.
The tagua or stone nut is a natural product that, after drying, is cut into slices, lentils, beads, rings, etc. before it is then colored. The individual parts may have cracks, grains, brown remains of shells, etc. These are not errors. These characteristics are wanted and make up the very special design of the Tagua products. Every single piece is cut, drilled and colored by hand. No part is like the other.
Tagua products, such as pearls, are relatively heavy and cool to the touch (this is the stone character). Because of its beautiful white fruit, the tagua is also known as plant ivory. With their cool, smooth feel and their beautiful shapes, the Tagua products can be processed into extraordinary and luxurious jewellery.
